The Blizzard Sorceress has been one of the most beloved characters to start your journey into the world of Diablo 2 Resurrected. With very little item investment, the Blizzard Sorceress is capable of destroying Andariel, Mephisto and Pindleskin, some of the most popular early solo farming bosses. With a decent Faster Cast Rate Breakpoint and the use of the Skill Teleport, you get to these bosses in no time. The Blizzard Sorceress, also known as the Blizz Sorc, is somewhat difficult with low survivability in some stages, but is unrivaled as the best Ladder Starter with its speed and versatility.
This build uses Cold Damage which is a great form of Crowd Control as it Chills or Freezes mobs which either slows or stops them in their tracks. However, it does not work well with mobs that are Cold Immune. The main damage against these monster types comes from Static Field and your Mercenary, until you get to super late game where you use Fire Ball to kill Immunities.
This build guide assumes you have a Character at Level 75 before transitioning to it. It follows the progression of our Sorceress Leveling Guide and our General Leveling Strategies to reach Level 75.

- Whenever casting Blizzard make sure to kite monsters through it for maximum damage.
- Keep your Frozen Armor up, along with Battle Command, and Battle Orders if you have made Call to Arms.

We hope you enjoy this build! It can be very fun and very rewarding, especially once you practice it. There is nothing like staring down your frozen enemies at close range and turning them into tiny ice cubes!
